I am a fractional General Counsel for Tennessee-based businesses, dedicated to helping owners protect and grow what they’ve worked so hard to build. My firm, Mercury Legal Group PLLC, is a business and transactional law firm providing on-demand general counsel services, with a focus on the hospitality and services industries. I offer subscription-based and flat-fee legal services designed to fit the pace and budget of growing businesses.

As a sixth-generation Tennessean and part of a long line of Tennessee attorneys—dating back to 1856—I have deep roots in this state. In 1929, my great-grandfather founded Shadowbrook, a historic event venue that I’ve worked at my entire life, including serving as manager for 10 years. I know firsthand the challenges business owners face, especially in the hospitality industry, because I’ve lived them myself.

In 2016, I pursued my passion for the law while continuing to manage the family business. During law school, I was a founding member of the Nashville School of Law’s Legal Aid Society, earned the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Law Student for Justice certificate, and interned with the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission.
